Our client, Free & Green (Mexico),asked us to create a 360º campaign that showcased McCarthy’s Irish Pub’s distinctive features: a unique bar where visitors can enjoy good food, watch sports broadcasts, meet friends and listen to live rock music, all of course, in a uniquely Irish environment.
Based on the concept of McCarthy’s Nation, we designed a comprehensive communication plan for both online and offline media along with an illustrated TV commercial as the campaign’s main feature.
The illustrated TV commercial, the main focus of the campaign, was a source that demonstrated the unique features of McCarthy’s proposition, one by one.
We made the illustrations come alive through animation.
The result was a campaign where real images were combined with cartoons to offer viewers the chance to visit McCarthy’s Nation.
The campaign was launched nationwide across all online and offline platforms including on premise. Throughout the year, the campaign was adapted to take into account various sports and musical events that were taking place.
The 360º campaign achieved national reach and it positioned McCarthy’s Pub as the #1 place for people to watch sports events.
